About this model, can anyone tell me if there's any problems regarding it? I'm considering buying a used one, but I've seen on a forum that I am currently on a couple of problems, including blue screens and black screens.

When the black screen occurs, it does not even reaches the bios screen entrance.

About the blue one, may be related to the memory.

Also, I've readed that Asus notebooks MAY HAVE a "programated bug" that occurs in 6 months, 1 or 2 years, and when it comes the LCD just shuts off. They say it may be related to the GPU...

What can you guys tell me about this?

    Thanks!

    Thanks pal!

    Can I ask one thing?

WIth the current settings of F5SL, I'm considering buying a T8300, the boost of performance from T2350 to T8300 would be enormous? And what about games?

    Thanks!

Well the F5SL officially supports the T5750/T5550/T5450 Core 2 Duo processors, T2370/T2330 Dual core processors and the 560/550/450 Celeron processors, so those are you are safety. The SiS 671DX+968 chipset used in the F5SL does however, the newer Penryn CPUs like the T8300, but the question is if the BIOS will recognize it.

Hmm, got it. I'll definitely do some research about that, altough I think it will work perfectly.

But do you know if I'm going to get a jump of performance?

I was looking at tom's hardware and got this cpu chart: http://www.tomshardware.com/charts/mobile-cpu-charts/benchmarks,19.html

I can't believe on that comparison they made with Q4, Prey and the others games, does the CPU have much influence on games like that?

If you are able to upgrade from a T2350 to a T8300, there will be a significant performance difference on your overall system. However, most games are still mostly GPU reliant (exceptions are RTS games).
