I am thinking of buying this laptop but want to know if it will support a total or maximum of 4GB, 2x 2GB modules. I know 2GB are expensive and I know windows 32 bit cant support the full 4GB but windows 64 bit can. I just need to know if the BIOS and motherboard will support the 2GB modules.

Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

The 945 series chipset supports upto 4 GB RAM, according to intel. I believe a bios update can easily fix the 2 GB limit. But whether such a BIOS actually exists, I don't know.

For addressing 4 gigs, a 64 bit OS is required...
