Hello! I have a problem with HDD (Seagate Momentus ST9120822AS 120 GB 5400 rpm) in my notebook(Asus F3T). Its very noise and making click sound every few seconds even notebook nothing doing (idle). I fink that this noise start after BIOS upgrade to latest 217 version, because i need upgrade to fix BT problem. I test my HDD with meny test programs like: HD Tune and more, all programs say thats all good also i try to use Disk Defragmenter tool but it not help. My HDD stil working very loud.

Thats weird, a bunch of people were reporting the same issue with their A8JS and the latest bios 211. I got my A8JS yesterday and flashed to the newest and I'm also having the same issue. Looks like Asus as screwed something up with the newest bios.

Have you tried using the Acoustic Management for the drive? I don't have any Seagates, so I don't know which tools to recommend, but I would try that.
