    Dear all,

Not sure if this is already known but seeing as I was here already I felt I might as well cross-post this bit of info.
The Asus F3Sv apparently has the tendency to randomly generate an empty bios password. As such you cannot enter the bios as an empty password doesn't get accepted but any password you do enter is incorrect.

Now the fix asus pretty much suggested didn't work (see below) however when flashing the bios passing the /all argument to aflash apparently you do reset the bios password setting effectivly nullifying it.

Asus was suggesting flashing bios 201, setting a password and then upgrading to 208 in which you can then disable the password. My system however was already at 208 when this problem arose so this was supposedly after the fix was already in place. Aside from that Asus does not have, nor does the internets, 201 bios for the F3Sv online. I can only imagine that somewhere in the suggestion Asus passed the /all command OR (more logically) that this is a separate problem alltogether. Regardless, <3 undocumented features!

    Yours,
    Scorpei
