    Hi All

I was previously working with 2 external monitors - one via the vga output and the other via hdmi - extending the screen over the two monitors with the built-in screen disconnected.

After upgrading to windows 8.1, the HDMI monitor will no longer activate if the other one is connected. Both work fine if the other is not connected, however.

I have checked for updated drivers, but apparently they are all up to date.

    Any suggestions ?

    Thanks
    LR

Which model of laptop do you have?
Does it have Optimus? If yes, have you updated both of the Intel/nVidia drivers?
If not, have you checked and see if there's any newer BIOS available that may enable support for Win8.1?
