I always get an Hcontrol error when I boot into windows on my z63a. How the quick launch keys besides the keyboard don't work anymore. Anybody have any suggestions on how to fix this problem? Thanks in advance!

Sounds like there was some Hcontrol corruption...
have you tried reinstalling the ATK0100 utility/driver?

There have been a lot of problems with Hcontrol and the new intel proset software/driver set.

I don't think there is a solution to this other than installing older Intel proset software/drivers.

    Sorry.

Search the forum, there are a few threads on this issue.

    Cheers,
    Mike

Thanks guys for your help. I got the hotkeys working again my uninstalling the current proset utility and downgrading to the previous version. Another thing that happened was the wireless light came on too after I downgraded! I was wondering why the wireless light wouldn't light up. Thank you again. I love this forum. Go Asus!
