    Allrighty then,

This EEE pc has interested me for sometime (I must admit that Linux was a put-off [please don't kill me Linux lovers]), but over the past few days I have been reading about it and have decided that I must own one (the 9"). It is the ultra portable that I want, after buying a T61 thinkpad that should serve as a stationary notebook.

But first question - is the release date official yet? I have heard mid April, May, June, and July, and I was wondering if there was anymore news about this little 9" beast. I am in the US, and usually we have the benefit of first or second wave consumer goods releases.

I also wanted to know if there are emulator FAQs that are EEE pc specific. I was thinking that I wanted a DS, though they didn't port any N64 besides Mario 64, so this little guy will definitely feed the N64 need. Can it handle the N64 emulants (is that a word?)? I have a GBASP (Lime green, oh yea!), but I would use it for SNES emulants as well. And do controllers (via adaptors) work well?

    Thanks,
    The T

It will support all controllers Windows has build in drivers for or you will mostly get a link or driver disc with a controller to USB adapter (which you can just rip the drivers on a PC and improt them on a thumb drive).

I like using my logitech pad for all my console games and I do pretty will with the keyboard for driving games and there are even ways to your mouse for shooters (Perfect Dark/GoldenEye anyone?).
