I currently have the W3J with the 2x512MB config for RAM. I was wondering what kind of performance hit I could expect if I only upgrade one of the sticks to 1GB (so it would be a total of 1.5GB of RAM). Anyone do this yet, or have most of you done the upgrade right to 2x1GB.

Also, what brand of RAM did you use for the upgrade (I remember seeing something about one brand not working in the W3J)?

So realistically, I would see a slightly faster machine due to the increase in RAM amount, despite the fact that I lose the 2% performance gain from Dual-Channel.
