    Does anybody know where to download ASUS driver cd's ?

    Hej

    Recently i had to recover my Asus PRO31S series laptop due to some software errors. After the recovery with the Vista CD i got the following error:

    Can not open file E:\I386\RECOVERY.DAT Please insert the Driver CD

    So i tried to find a download of the Driver CD for my laptop on the internet, but i didnt succeed. The best website till now is http://www.asustreiber.de
    the only problem with this website is that the codes of the driver cd's are really strange.. I dont understand the coding which reffers to Asus computers.. for example X51R Treiber-CD should be an Asus R series???

    Can anybody help me with my problem? Does anybody know where to find driver cd's for my laptop and if not.. does anybody understand the german website?

    what model is ur laptop, that would be a good start!!? on the bottom of ur laptop is has the model number/name, what is it?

    thanks for that but was looking for the actual driver cd, as recovery of this laptop asks for the driver cd
