I have a G50v and Im having a serious issue for the 3rd time in 4 months and I have owned the laptop for two years and am still under warranty, Do you think they will replace the laptop because it is clearly defective. Does anyone have experience with them replacing a lemon nothebook?

Hmm...that's an interesting question. I think after so many issues Asus would realize that the computer will continue to cost them more money than it should, so it really depends on what is wrong with the laptop.
Call them up and see I suppose.

Calling something a lemon is a common expression used in the US for an item that has serious defects which make it unusable. I think the expression originally came from car dealerships, that offered a 'lemon' protection guarantee where they would refund your money if you drove it off the lot and it fell apart in the first week.

Well I sent them an email asking them to resolve my situation, lets hope they agree that the resolution I outlined is fair.
