    Hi there,

My Asus G1 has been knocked and the power pin goody has come away from the Motherboard - I assume that is what it was soldered to - and I want to take the laptop apart and see if it is something I can re-solder.

Anyone know of a Guide to taking a G1 apart? I've taken out every screw I can find and removed the keyboard but don't know what to do next.

Any advice would be appreciated, thank you.

have you removed the casing on the bottom, you might find it there.

I haven't been able to sadly - it is tantalizingly close to coming apart but the bottom remains on. If I could get it off, I could probably get to the section I need. I've searched these Forums and generally online but found nothing G1 specific.
