    hello,

Has anybody tried using the direct console msn alerter with messenger 2009?

looks like it does not work for the momment, I dont see the direct console plugin on the messenger window...

    anybody else tried?

if it does not work I hope asus updates direct console, I use the msn alerts quite a bit.

By the way, for those who dont know, you can download the new msn messenger 2009 from here:

its really nice, I love all the improvements theyve made. Also, although the site says its a beta, but it came out of beta a few days ago... they just havent updated the site.

    cheers

I've checked my laptop and it also doesn't work for me either. I downgraded to msn version 8.5 and that works.

Because there's a plug-in for WLM Messenger 8.x that is incompatible with 9.x. Unless someone can port this over to WLM 9.x Direct Console will not work. However, I think some people working on LCDHype have managed to get it working with WLM 9.x without the plugin.
