    Hey,

Does anyone know of any good quality carry bags that would be suitable for the W3.

I cant seem to find any that are specifically designed for a 14" widescreen notebook.

    Thanks..

Booq has nice bags that would probably fit and Oakley has a very pricey bag that I confirmed with a retailer would also fit the dimensions of the W3.

Keep in mind you are probably looking for a bag that is designed for a 15" notebook, not 14".

If you're looking for one that specifically fits a 14" widescreen, I looked for something like that when I was considering the W3v and never found one I liked. It's just a matter of doing some serious internet searching and then seeing if there is a retailer for the bag you like in your area. If not, you can always order it online.

I'm looking at getting a Shinza Zeroshock 15" sleeve, and then just a regular messenger bag. That way I don't end up carrying around the extra weight of padding, etc., when I don't have the laptop. Of course, if you'll usually be carrying the laptop, it might make sense to get a padded bag. Targus makes some good ones that are relatively cheap.

I definitely want to go with a messenger bag because the flap covers the zipper -- so if I get caught in the rain, I don't have to worry (as much) about water seeping in through the zip.

do a search for dv1000 in the accessories forum. i found a great link to a huge thread about sleeves and bags to fit the hp dv1000 which happens to be 14" wide and I checked the measurements, it's basically the same footprint of the w3v.
