Have an Asus G51Vx-X1A and can't get it see an external display when I plug my Toshiba 47inch LCD into the HDMI port. When I go to "SET UP MULTIPLE DISPLAYS" in nVidia control panel, only shows Laptop LCD display. I know the HDMI cable is good, cause it works fine with my Toshiba X205 laptop. Didn't work with 185.85 drivers, upgraded to latest (186.81 from nVidia's website) but no help. Anybody else have this problem with their G51??

Figured it out, was the cheap-assed cable-works with a Toshiba lappy, but not an Asus, must be HDCP or something.
    Using 185.68 DOX drivers now.

Anyway, now I'd like to listen to the audio from the headphone jack/speaker out on the computer, but of course it's going to the HDMI output to the LCD TV. Anybody know how to re-direct it to the headphone/speaker out on computer?

Try looking in Control Panel, when the HDMI cable is plugged in, it usually creates a playback device, so can change it back to the default ones there.

Right click on the speaker icon on the status line at the bottom of the screen. Select "Playback devices". Choose the device you want for output and make it the default device.
