This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    C90s password crash

    Hi everyone,

    I recently got a c90s from gentech and everything is looking great with the exception of this weird error I have been getting.

    Any sort of passworded file that brings up the "enter password" window immediately crashes when I click on the window. So far I've had this problem with winrar, pdf, and IE all crashing when a password is required.

    I figured it had to be an issue with vista, but i haven't been able to track down any fixes.

    Any help or ideas are greatly appreciated!
