A friend spilled some liquid on my C90S keyboard, and an area around where the liquid spilled is unusable, and constantly pressing down those keys. For now I have attached an external keyboard, but need a permanent fix.
Is there anywhere I can order this from? Or instructions on how to pull out the keyboard and try and fix it myself?
Thanks

If you look at the top of the keyboard you will see 4 tabs just above the F keys. Push them upward the keyboard will pop up, then you just gently push back the locking clip on the ribbon cable.
It's pretty easy and you should have no problems if you take your time. Install in the reverse. You might want to try and flush clean it yourself, but make sure it's dry before reinstalling. But for 20 dollars a 2nd keyboard isn't the worse thing to have lying around. -
No keyboard under the C90S, anyone know which ones are compatible, me thinks of trying to find one with the FN and Ctrl keys reversed.
Nevermind, page 2. -
Don't need buy one, call Asus 24/7 support hotline and tell them you need a new keyboard, they'll send you a new keyboard for free and all they need is your laptop serial number.

Thanks for the info, I'm going to call them tonight. I forgot about this thread and have been using an external for some time now. It will be good to finally have the keyboard working again.
