I was wondering what everyones opinion is on the graphics card on the C90, im planing on getting one soon. Should i get the ddr2 and wait for the newer one to come out, or dish out more for the gddr3?? Basically, does anyone know what the next one is gonna be, like performance improvement and ETA.

    Thanks, Tyler

I've got the DDR2 512 MB and have, on occasion, been hung up a couple times. But that was last night gaming on NeverWinter Nights, after gaming for 4+ hours on Gaming Mode in a non-AC room, Max settings and the best possible resolution. Which is 1600X1400 or some garbage like that.

The times it hung up were AFTER the 4 hour mark. And those fans sounded pretty mean when on full throttle, they got the job done though with impressive results.

I'm pleased with the DDR2 512MB card, but then again I'm coming from a 6-year old desktop to the c90. I'm not sure about gaming benchmarks, but 3dmark gives the DDR3 model a significant edge over the DDR2 version.

As far as any better models go, it's pure speculation at this point.
