Is this common with all LED screens? Mine does not, although i heard some people who have this model can see theirs flickering (Latitude E6400).

I bought my mom an ASUS K52F-BBR5 from best buy the other week and I noticed it flickering on lower brightness levels (where people claimed they noticed my model flickering) and she (57 year old lady) noticed it as well. I checked to see if any power options were enabled but nothing of the sort was. It's fine on higher brightness settings. care lol.

    So...should i exchange it?

Edit: Nm? My mom and sister said they tested various brightnesses and is fine now, so i honestly have no idea if it just needed a break in or something or what. I was pretty sure i still saw flickering after i disabled any possible power saving features but maybe it needed a reboot or something. anyway, they assure me its fine and im in another city, so if it becomes a problem, i'll have to go through ASUS. hey, its not my laptop, its my moms! :D

    thanks!

    nevermind!

It could be the AC adapter. If it continues, ask ASUS or Best Buy to exchange it for you under warranty.
