    Hey, i got a asus F6V, and jsut recently i after you boot up, the vista logo appears, the little green loading thingy appears, than after that the screens goes black and takes a few seconds longer to boot up than before. Is this common?

    Also when i turn on my laptop the HDD makes 2 pretty load noises? I'm not sure how i would describe the sound.

    Sounds like HDD failure, don't take my word for it though.
