    So it just died...2.5 years old right after the 2-year warranty expired. Video is messed up because the time bomb nVidia calls a GPU gave out.

    Can't find a motherboard anywhere. W7Sg mobo would be nice, I'd even pay $300 for it. Guess they've all been swapped into W7S's that died sooner. Couldn't Asus have predicted this and kept production going a bit longer?

    So I have a $1600 paperweight.

    I like the U30JC-A1 as replacement but can't see how I can give Asus more money after getting screwed by this lemon.

    I know it's mostly nVidia's fault, but I'm just so pissed off that this thing is FUBAR after 2.5 years and all that money.

    Does anyone know how the lawsuits about these faulty POS chips are coming along? As of now I'll be out about $1000 because of this BS.
