The only thing that bothered me about that site was this:

    Intel Core 2 Duo T7100 1.8 GHz 4MB 800 FSB

when I was looking at one of the 14" models. I'm always weary when a site makes a glaring mistake like that. That chip only has a 2MB cache...

    I guess just a typo?

The have some typos here and there. I too was wary when I first when to their site and read a typo but after being on these forums for a almost 2 months and hearing all the great feedback about them and especially ken (one of the main representatives from gentech) being an active and informative part of this forums I pre=ordered my c90 from them. I even spoke to Ken about some concerns about the laptop and concerns with its connectivity with peripherals I have. He was more than willing to help and give advice. Now just waiting on my C90 which I cant blame them for since Asus is the one whos been delaying the shipment and since I am a late pre-order but I'm hoping it get to the week after next.

yeah, so many sites have typos on them, you just have to know the model of the laptop you want and know what its specs are before you go to the store.

but, if you are from canada, try ncix.com and use http://www.lucomputers.com/aStore/default.asp to do a pricematch (buy from ncix, but use their pricematch feature and get them to match lucomputers price, they are generally much cheaper but im not guaranteeing they are the cheapest. my notebook was ~$100 cheaper there compared to anywhere else)

you could also buy from lucomputers, i just have never heard of them before.

i wholeheartedly recommend xoticpc.com. they have plenty of great options and, if i remember correctly, they are one of the cheaper sites currently. you order through the site, they give you a confirmation call the next day, then they either modify it if you added any upgrades or ship it out. as for shipping, it was fast and arrived in perfect condition in about 5 days.

on a side note, i was considering upgrading to 4 GBs of RAM but decided against it. however, when i was considering it, i e-mailed service at xoticpc.com and they let me know they could still modify it if i so desired. so, yep, i would definitely go with xoticpc.com.
