This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Ordered an M50Vm from CDW Thursday, just found out it was back-ordered, and wouldn't be shipped until this Wednesday. :eek:

    Getting tired of working from a crippled Toshiba and a Blackberry... I want my new baby. :(

    Well if you want it shipped sooner there are other merchants such as the ones listed in the Asus Info Booth Thread that have that model in stock, and possibly cheaper.

    Actually, the CDW price was good, and I've had good experiences with them in the past too. I'm just ranting. :p

    meh, try waiting for the G71V!! :mad:

    everyone is taking pre-orders, but no-one can give me an ETA! "late september", "another two weeks", "we have no idea".

    hope that ASUS is working some extra magic on this one, beyond posted specs :) . maybe hybrid graphics?
