Hi. Does anyone here play battlefield 2 on their g1s? I just saw the game selling for $9.99, so I thought it was worth a try. But just want to see if there is any compatibility issues or bugs with the g1s. thanks :)

No compatibility issues that I know of. The only thing I needed to adjust was the widescreen issue (since the game doesn't support widescreen out of the box), besides that it runs like a charm.

When you're running it, make sure you have user account control off, and that you run it as an administrator, otherwise punkbuster will kick you out of the game.

If you set it on the shortcut, it will stay.

How many discs are you suppose to get in the retail bf2 box? Right now I have 3.

I played BF2142 on my G1S (before it died) and ran without any problems. Except punkbuster kept booting me (never had that problem on my desktop). I hear BF2 plays well also. I have the game at home, just haven't loaded it up yet.
