Hi. Does anyone here play battlefield 2 on their g1s? I just saw the game selling for $9.99, so I thought it was worth a try. But just want to see if there is any compatibility issues or bugs with the g1s. thanks

No compatibility issues that I know of. The only thing I needed to adjust was the widescreen issue (since the game doesn't support widescreen out of the box), besides that it runs like a charm.

Mr._Kubelwagen More machine now than man
When you're running it, make sure you have user account control off, and that you run it as an administrator, otherwise punkbuster will kick you out of the game.

Its def worth it for 10 bucks. Though i regret my purchase of 2142 for 10 bucks. EALA store rocks

voodoo, whatd you need to do to get it to run widscreen?
-
widescreen requires a simle command. I believe it is +sxz 1680 +syz 1050
-
will that stay like that permanantly? or will i have to keep retyping it.
-
If you set it on the shortcut, it will stay.
-
But are you able to play online with widescreen?
-
set it on the shortcut...? please explain

Use different numbers for whatever resolution you want. -
How many discs are you suppose to get in the retail bf2 box? Right now I have 3.

I played BF2142 on my G1S (before it died) and ran without any problems. Except punkbuster kept booting me (never had that problem on my desktop). I hear BF2 plays well also. I have the game at home, just haven't loaded it up yet.
