Not expecting any solutions as such, but as of yesterday my AJ8S LCD is showing a painful ghosting and has some video corruption also. Combined with the "express upgrade" fiasco where they cancelled my Vista upgrade after 2 months of waiting, and the bad viewing angle of the LCD and my whole Asus purchase is getting less attractive.

Hope they are fast on their warrantee service?

Laptops can be such a PITA.. I also had to service my last laptop. Maybe I should stick to desktop PCs. :)
