Buy the Asus G1, because the Graphikcard is better as from the G2!!
    OK G1: 15" VS G2: 17"
I think the G1 is better in cheaper!

i did, i searched for 'asus in canada' + 'asus dealers'
I chose match 'any' and match 'all' and nothing came up. In fact more replies of "No Match found" appeared than the time it too to make this lil post.

If you dont know any then dont ask someone to use the FAQ unless youve done so yourself and seen the results given
    sheeeesh

It is stickied for a reason, and unfortunately, vBulletin does not have a feature(yet) that automatically places stickies first in priority when doing a search.

And I don't know about you, but I did a search on 'ASUS dealer Canada' (And obviously, those two searches you've done are quite, interesting, considering what you are looking for. Specifically ASUS dealers in Canada. Kinda ironic that two separate searches could of easily wielded answers if you put them together.) and guess what I found? The sticky! *gasp*

i know the pros and cons between the two
Im not a hard core gamer and besides its almost impossible to buy a G1 now WITHOUT vista already installed and with the nvidia and vista combo ive seen more complaints than anything else.

The 17" screen, TV tuner is more important to me than a few white paper specs between the two graphic cards.

And as ive read so far.... The G2 with XP is a better gamer than the G1 with vista :p

Now if u have a G1 with Xp, then thats a diff story

Funny you should mention Canada Computers' rudeness, I ordered a digital camera with them almost 2 weeks ago, and indicated a different shipping address than billing address. I know this can cause problems but since they offered the option, I thought I'd give it a shot because it's gonna be a pain to get from the billing address.

So a few days later they send me an email telling me they can't verify my address and get in contact with them. Fine. So I call their number, no answer. And their voice mailbox is full. I try calling a couple numbers listed on their site, same story. Operator, same story. No answer, full voice mailbox. Tried emailing three different email addresses, no response. Called them more than a dozen times, no response. It's like all my attempts to contact them just go into a black hole. This is not even rude service, it's just no service.

So now I'm at the end of my rope and considering my next steps since I still want the camera and don't want to cancel the order just yet. Just thought I'd let y'all know...probably a good idea not to deal with them.

As for Ontario retailers, I'd check out Milestone PC (as mentioned). ETC Computer and Infonec Computers are also two large retailers in Ont. You can check out NCIX.com as well but their prices aren't always the best on Asus notebooks.
