As the title states, I am wondering which Asus model has the BEST (ie: fastest) video card. The best I have seen so far is an ATI x1700.

Just trying to get a feel for what's out there besides the Sager 5760/ClevoM570U.

    Thanks.

You can get the go7700 in the G1 which im sure is better than the x1700. Also in the VX2.

    Asus Lamborghini
    Asus G2
The best Asus' models. Otherwise you can try Dell XPS.

If you want a 17" then G2... If you want 15.4" then the G1 has the best card on it's size class...

Well, right now there is nothing ASUS offers that is remotely close to the 5760.

Asus doesn't have anything above a Geforce Go 7700 or a Radeon X1700. Here's what Asus offers:

    Most powerful (Go 7700):

    - A8Js (14.1" - $1600)
    - VX2 (15.4" - $3000)
    - G1 (15.4" - $1900)

    Slightly less powerful (X1700):

    - A8JP (14.1" - $1300)
    - G2 (17" - $2000)
    - W2 (17" - $2500)
    - F3 (15.4" - $1500)

The Go 7700/Mobility X1700 are nothing to sneer at, because they have plenty of power, but they're also not the best you can buy, either. Check out this thread for more information:

the x1700 in the g2 is actually faster than the one in the w2j the f3j and the a8jp

it has 512 mb ram and higher clock speed

It is still not as powerful as a 7700 go.
