    hey all ive got a w3j + and i was wondering if taking out the battery while it is full and running off of ac is better for the battery? my friend from future shop says so. but my w3j wasnt starting up for some reason. im not sure if this is related.

    it's not better or worse, but it certainly couldn't hurt. The battery is not being constantly charged, so there should not be a problem with over charging - which would be a great reason to do that, but without having that problem, it really isn't going to do anything for you. However, if you're going to use it on a desk 99% of the time, there's also no need for the battery to be in the system either..... so do what you want. A battery left out of a system will slowly lose it's charge over a months time or even less. So, if you then go to use the battery, you may need to charge it first. If it's always left in the system, it'll always give it a bit of a charge if it's not at 100%.

    if you end up storing it..best to run it down to around 40% then take it out
