I recently just bought an Asus n50 from XoticPC but it still appears to still be in the "confirmation" phase. I used a credit card to purchase the notebook and Xotic claims that their payment processing for notebooks is "instant". I am pretty sure I gave them the right info.

When was the purchase made? Regular credit card processing over the T-day weekend is slow, esp in smaller companies if their staff were out for the w/e and now just getting back in to catch up on the weekend orders.

Best to just call them directly and discuss....

The transfer of money is instant, though they might need to confirm the source of that money is legitimate. I wouldnt worry about it.

You can private message Justin or the other XoticPC guys here.

When I ordered my G50Vt from them, they did not charge my CC until the unit was in "production" phase.

I almost ordered a notebook from XoticPC but they said it takes up to 7 days to process before it is shipped. That was too long when I wanted it overnight. I really don't want a distributor opening the package and testing my PC after Asus already tested it.

I have bought my lappy from Xoticpc and while they are very reliable they could be a tad too slow for people looking for a rush service...
