I still cannot believe they called those comments racist and banned me.

 

Notebookforums sucks. They banned my IP for an honest and non-offensive statement that one person complained about (I noted that someone who had a minimal grasp on english would probably not be a good sales and support rep for the us). The admin over there made it in to some huge deal.

The funny thing was, the admin called my statement racist. So I told him that, if anything, it was biased against non-english speakers and there was never any mention of race. I think that their admins are of below-average intelligence. I emailed with them back and forth about reinstating me...and then I just gave up because anyone who sees a language barrier as a race issue is not worth associating with.

 

I tried to join NF but they would not accept Hotmail or Yahoo email addresses.

And I have no intention of joining IP addresses which demand credit card details

maybe the topic of this thread should be changed to "what's wrong with notebookforums.com?" Lol [ ] The people here tend to be a bit less reactionary than those on NBF, but there are a LOT more people on notebook forums than here, so there's usually more "going on". smilepak, AuroraS, and myself are members of both forums. (and smilepak, you know I'm always trying to get more people to take the poll, also. it's up to 75% with 64 people!)[ ]

but NBF doesn't have a dedicated ASUS section like this forum, so I like it better here.. I don't like having to sort through other threads to look for interesting ASUS ones. I have to admit though, I do like reading about non-ASUS threads once in a while...(e.g. Undervolting)

Also, I have more power here...muahaha [|)]
