Hi I just found that under the laptop there is only one stick? is that right? so I just changed only one stick and now I have 1.5GB, please... if someone can tell me where and how to change the second stick, that will be great. If not, I guess I will live with 1.5GB.

    Regards,

    Augi

One stick is also opposite that, under the keyboard.

... that's easy... take out the battery and remove the 5 screws that are under it... that holds the keyboard cover (the black plastic piece above the keyboard). Remove that and then just slide the keyboard up. Honestly a 5-10 minute job from start to finish (including adding the ram).

... Thank you.. It always helps when someone else explains how easy it is. I try not to make everything seem easy as a lot of things just become easy with time as I may have done something dozens of times.... but I try to look back and remember how hard something might be... Then when I think, ah that was easy... I almost feel bad saying it because I know at least one person isn't going to think so.

Can i just ask is there no way of upgrading ram/hdd without voiding the asus warranry? Can't I get a qualified Asus technician to upgrade for me while keeping the warranty intact? or am I just basically stuck with what I got? for the duration of the warranty?
