hi, I have been using my UX31A (windows 7, non-touch IPS HD screen) for about two years and everything works just fine.

It just happened today that the screen suddenly became dark with orange hue.

I indeed reboot it for several times, but the problem still exists.

Any idea what has happened? Does it mean the screen is dead? Please help.

The screen is still working though and I can still use it to post this message onto the board. It's just become quite dark with yellowish/orange hue on the screen. There is no dead pixels on the screen from the problem. I heard there are two light bars on the LCD monitor for the purpose of lighting up the screens. Could it because of their problems?

the following screen catch is not relevant to the problem and I just can't delete it. sorry
