hi I got my asus f8s laptop in US with global warranty and using it in India.
due to the problem on the screen, i gave it for service. I got the screen replaced and in the same day of working after few hours the system went off ..cannot start it. I gave it for service on the same day( 27/1/09 ). today (2/2/09) they called me and said that the 2 screws on back are missing so we have problem in claiming warranty. I said , i did not touch any screws..They said ok and said they will say the status soon..

What should i do now...? i did not unscrew any thing ..?

Could turn out good or bad, wait for the response.

If warranty covers, it's all good

If not, mention that you did not touch the screws and that it was recently infor service and you did not check if the screws were present when you got it.
