    Hello all,

I am visiting Hong Kong and take opportunity to replace my old Acer Aspire (Ati x700) by the best gaming laptop with 14" (because frequent moving, several flight travel/year).

I fixed my choice on Asus N81Vp-D1 (T9600-ATI HD4650), but no way to find it or neither C1, in Sham Shui Po, Mongkok or Wanchai.

I found some N81Vp but powered by P8800 (2.66 Mhz, TPD 25w) instead of T9600.
Best price found at Sam Shui Po is 8400 HKD (around 1080 USD, 740 euros).

I am ok with this model because :
    - CPU may be lower but price is lower (-10 %, 1080 $ vs 1200$)
    - consumption TPD 25W (instead of 35w) will fit better my need. (plane)
    - with the money save, will buy 2 extra-battery, many vendor here :)

But I google everywhere and found no trace or clue abouth this N81Vp-P8800.
No benchmark, no review or even press announces.
Wondering if this model is legit?

The vendor told that this P8800 is new model and replace D1
    1. Anyone heard about it and confirm (or better can tell user-experience)?
    2. Does I will lose a lot of performance for trading P8800 instead of T9600?
(-10 % will be ok, since price is -10%)

In all case, I think will buy next monday unless someone rise me a red flag!

    Thanks!
    J.
    P.S :
    - I found easily Asus N81VG with Geforce 120m:
Would be Ok for casual gaming, but HD 4650's 3DMark06 score is definitely better. (+20 %, around 5300 vs 6300)
    - Also found LG P310 abnd Dell Studio 13 XPS, but screen size is a bit too small, I will need to work a bit with my new laptop

WOW, now a P8800 is out?

Man times really fly. A P8800 uses less power so i would g with that instead.
