I purchased a second-hand laptop from an auction to replace my dead Acer, according to the information in the auction I got the notion (from ASUS website) that ALL N50VN models have the same 9650M-GT chip inside them. Later, after winning the bid, I however found out that some of the models may have the much inferior GS-version of the video card inside!

The suffix of the Asus N50VN is FP117C. With Google, I get very mixed information about the innards of this model. So how is it folks, which one of the video cards is most likely inside? I need to know so that if it is the GS, I won't take the package that is waiting in the post office in at all.
