The M50vm-a1 comes with Vista home premium 32bit

It's definately a solid notebook with better specs and features then the previous generation (M50SV) and I wouldn't hesitate recommending the M50VM.

The only bad thing that I can think of off the top of my head is the less than average battery life, but it's really not that bad.

Well, when you put it that way, I'm completely happy with my purchase then. :)

By the way, any of that infamous keyboard lag in the M50Vm?

Asus M50Vm-A1 or B1 come with 32 bits of Windows Vista Home Premium Edition. You can buy a 64 bits of Windows Vista to install into the system.

The benefit of 64 bits O.S. is you can enjoy the 4GB RAM memory. The disadvantage is some of your old application may not run on 64 bits O.S.

    Good Luck on your search!
