    Hey guys

I'm having a problem with asus life frame, the video recorder & voice recorder does not record clear sound and there a noise coming from my laptop in the recording + I can hear it by my ears, the same with Win.7 recorder.

here is a video sample of the problem (download link):

That is line noise caused by interference from other components like your hard disk and power supply. If you go to battery power it will likely be reduced, but your mic gain is probably too high to begin with. Internal mics are not the best, if you want quality sound you may want a headset or a desktop mic.

Thank you ALLurGroceries, but the noise is louder on battery power, plus the noise wasn't obvious two weeks ago, everything was fine.

is there a way to reset the mic settings, I asked my brother and he said that he did something to the settings.

Do you have Realtek HD Audio installed? If so go to Realtek HD Audio Manager and under the Microphone tab, mute the Playback Volume.
