    Hi all,

I am considering buying this laptop (Asus K61IC-X1) from Newegg Canada. Specs are as follows:

    Intel C2D T6600 2.2 GHz
    4 GB RAM
    320 GB HDD (7200 rpm)
    Nvidia Geforce GT220M
    16" LCD
    4 USB, 1 VGA, 1 HDMI ports
    Windows 7 Home Premium

Cdn $850, which I thought was reasonable for a budget gaming notebook.

Anyone have an opinion on this machine? I did a google search and didn't really find anything. In addition to office work, I'm mostly going to be using it for watching videos and some light gaming (with older 3D games, nothing cutting edge).

I'm especially interested in how good (or bad) the screen is and how is the heat output/management. I've also never owned an Asus before. I hope they're generally well-made and reliable?

    Thanks in advance.
