    Asus Hard Disk noising

    Hi,

    I have new ASUS n61JA and i hear some noises from Hard Disk. Noises are too low but i can hear them on 100% calm environment and if i am in front of notebook. So want to know is it normal to have some sounds from Hard Disk? How can i check hard disk health?

    I am afraid of this notebook has been damaged during distribution, may be happened because of vibration.

    Thanks, so i am going to try that soft. Actually i don`t have problem with noise just want to know do this sounds because of damaged hard disk.

    I think its normal for hdd to have sounds as it does have moving parts in it. For me only when i hear loud "click" sounds then something is probably wrong.
