    Anyone knows ETA when it's coming out yet? I am ready to buy it in a hearbeat, but unfortunately not a single website has any information on this laptop. I know NewEgg has G70S but I am really interested in the 'updated' version G71 just like many other people. Another question, do you think ASUS will give out ETA on their products if I call them?

    I've been googling it every day im guessing the eta is august 8th. If the price is too high i think ill get a Sager.

    Generally resellers are going to have access to that information, but non-disclosure agreements sometimes prevent them from divulging it.

    As to the second, no they typically won't - customer service has no involvement and generally no access to import and release dates on the model line, that's Asus NA corporate.
