Hello guys i wanted to know if these memory will work on the asus g1s

    http://shop4.outpost.com/product/5284717?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG

i don`t understand much of hardware i wanted to know cause that one is 200-pin, ddr2 and 667mhz.

The kit comes with 4gb (2x2gb) ddr2 OCZ memory. If i install the 2 sticks and dont install Vista 64bits will i have problems? Or i will just lose some non-recognized memory?

Also i found these patriot memories http://shop4.outpost.com/product/5200767?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG
if i buy 2 sticks will they have dual-channel?
Which one should i buy? OMG I`m getting crazy with so many questions

Thanks in advance, and if anyone has better emory suggestions please give me.

Multiple reports around here about G1 and other systems either not addressing the full 4gb ram and/or running slower on 4gb vs 3gb RAM.

Dual-channel in notebooks does not provide an appreciable performance boost. Better to put in 2gb + 1 GB if you really need lots of RAM, else 2x1GB should be fine. The specs you're looking at will work.

I also suggest 2+1GB as the best configuration for a laptop, currently.

Unless someone confirms they are running 4GB without issues on the G1S, with Vista 32.

(sure without addressing all of it but that's not the point, it has to work :) )
