I just got my Asus c90s from circuit city. Its specs can be found here: http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Spec...6/rpem/ccd/productDetailSpecification.do#tabs
I made sure my drivers were up to date and everything worked fine. I even played a video game on it and it worked fine (though it was an old game). I then gave it time shut down, rebooted it, and then put it in overclocking mode to run 3DMark06. The results to my system at almost full performance in 3dmark06? A score of about 2500. I was extremely dissapointed with this and was wondering if anyone else had scores like this or could it be a possible problem?

What resolution are you running 3dmark06?
Maybe you can OC your gpu to squeeze in a couple hundred points.
I got almost 3500 (cpu OC to 2.8 and gpu at 500/500 running XP)

dont base it on 3dmark06 please, the 8600gt is a mobile "DIRECT X 10" gpu which has different renders than direct x 9, of course its going to score low
