Nope. There will be more info on the C90 available at Computex in Taiwan on Tuesday (June 5) but I don't know if that includes release date.

The C90 was supposed to beat Santa Rosa to the market, but that did not happen. I am guessing Asus is switching the 945M chipset with the 965M included with Santa Rosa, but that is just my speculation.

I am hoping to spend £800 (US$1580) on a good replacement for my desktop

    My Desktop:

    Intel P4 3.4Ghz
    2gb DDR2-667 RAM
    NVIDIA 7900GT

Do you think this is possible? By the looks of things the C90 is justa chassis with the 8600GT 512MB and Optical Drive built in.

    Comes to £747 with a Conroe E6600, 2GB RAM AND 160GB 7200.2 HDD.

I don't need WIFI as I am on a gbit network and GFX is included.

I hope it is that much in the UK though.

Yeah thats why I may get a c90 over the G series. Like 500$ USD less than a G1S or G2S and has even more power.

You loose some of the flashy looks, but gain in the way of performance. I think I can deal with that.

I'm really interested in this laptop now, but 3 questions o_O.

    1) Any idea on like a possible price, UK price would be nice too.
    2) I'm not one to use my laptop on the battery so battery life isn't too important to me but what's that like? I heard it's really low >.<.
    3) I rather not burn my balls so what's the heat like?

    1) No idea, just go to the website Gentechpc and try to mix the ingredients as you wish, then you got the final price? convert it! piece of cake :D
    2)Its about 81minutes(with 6-Cell Battery) i heard.
3)Don't talk about heat if you're buying a gaming notebook.
you'll sure burn yours if you put above it for a long time
