    The screens could very well be different depending on the specific SKU and the country that the B80 is being sold in. Then again, Asus is infamous for typos on their website. I'd call Asus notebook support and ask for confirmation.

    I'll do that thanks. I want a matte screen not glossy. And it doesn't help when 2 different sites list 2 different screen types :-(

    Believe it or not I have gotten used to the glossy screen on th G50, so much so i forgot about it. I dont use it outdoors which probably helps. Only see reflections in black areas or if the screen is black. Could be hell for a dark movie, didnt want it at all but i never noticed on the floor model when i got it home i was like oh crap.... lol

    Ok I found out that their are 2 versions. The A1 is the glossy screen. And the B1 is matte. And of course for some reason the Matte screen is like $150 more...

    B1 = Core 2 Duo P8600 2.4Ghz

    Yeah but what's funny is. On monday the B1 was $805 now its $965 :-( I would have bought it at the $805 price...

    Well considering a P8600 by itself is $215 and the unit has the screen you want, whats the beef.
