    Hi, I have a ASUS L3800 Laptop and have lost the AC adapter. I found out that there is a 60W and a 90W adapter available. Which is the correct adapter for my laptop?

    If older than 1.5 years or so, probably 60W. But you can buy the 90W just to be sure, it'll work just fine instead of the 60W (not the other way around, though).

    The 90W is bigger though.

    The 90w for the C90S was not big or heavy IMO, the 120w was a monster :p

    What does the label on the bottom of the computer say?

    The photo here clearly shows 19V, 4.74A, 90W.

    Hi,

    My laptop has a sticker on the rear side indicating:

    Input -> 19V 3.45A 65W

    This confirms that I need a 65W AC adapter, right!?

    tx

    yes, you can use the 65w model and be fine. You said your choice was 60w or 90w tho. So given that I would get the 90w since you definitely do not want one that falls short of spec.

    So you should look for at least 65W (which is probably the Asus standard rating) but, if you have integrated graphics then you can probably get away with 60W (19V, 3.16A) if that is what is available. The 90W PSU will work fine but will be bigger and heavier, if portability is an issue.
