    the k53ta has a static grain pattern on darker colors. see attached-

    it's not temporal dithering; no dancing pixels.

    it's some other kind of dithering. it's a frozen pattern

    is this the same issue that has plagued some asus laptops in the past ?

    i searched and found something similar......
    is this an LVDS spatial dither problem ?

    can anyone here contact asus through special channels and get them to fix this ?
