Yea, I bought mine from bestbuy. It's great so far, only problem is the screen, which has the lower resolution and a few imperfections, like a tiny piece of dust, and little imperfection in the plastic that looks like a peice of dust. Not too much of a problem though because I am going to be replacing it with a 1920x1080 one in a while. Other than that it is great and I haven't really had any problems.

    Its the G73 btw.

Bought mine from Best Buy, fought off the woman trying very hard to get me a service plan. This is for my G50vt-X1.

Got frustrated with the stock screen, replaced it. Wanted better physics processing, got a better CPU. So it was a cheaper laptop but I made it work for me.

Got mine from Best Buy back in June. I took it back there yesterday to have it serviced. The screen was starting to fail. One day it's perfect, then the next, dead pixels everywhere. And of course the dreaded GSOD many are complaining about.

But the Geek Squad at Best Buy took care of it quickly and best part is I don't have to pay to send it in for an RMA.

I bought mine on sale when it was going for $1,100, so I consider it a steal. As with all electronics, there will be issues, so having my laptop serviced didn't surprise me or even upset me.

One thing I dislike about the Best Buy model is that it comes with only one HD bracket. I know there are work arounds, but I thought it was very cheap of Asus to include just the one bracket, and to buy another will cost about $20.

Got my G73 from Bestbuy a little more than a month ago. Works really well, no issues [besides GSOD, which most have]. The guy that 'helped' me even told me the service plan was way to expensive haha. He was telling me to get it, then asked the cashier how much an extra warranty would be, got quoted $200 and was like ouch oh that's expensive. Plus we talked about SC2 for awhile.

I got one the weekend they launched. I have had a bunch of little annoyances.

-The disc drive stopped working once.
    -Occasional GSODs.
-I have a dead pixel now, but it is 1 inch off the left side and 1/8th of an inch from the top. I have an LG screen.

The Pro is that is runs almost all games great, all except those that Nvidia fubars to promote Physx. [Metro 2033, Cryostasis, etc]
