I am sorry to create a new thread but I wanted some info about Asus G51JX

A few questions if people don't mind:

I posted in what to buy section and after the info I finally narrowed my choices down to

Asus G51JX: Great bang for buck but worried about BSOD issues
Sager 8690: 100$ more for a better GPU but lesser Ram and other little stuff.

Am leaning towards G51JX but how big are the BSOD issues? Big enough to pay the 100$ more and get the Sager?

As you can see I am worried about the BSOD issues. From what I understand these BSOD issues will be resolved in the near future, right or is there no guarantee? Also are these BSODs only with playing the games at the max settings at the highest resolution or with any settings?

As you can see I am leaning towards the Asus G51JX but worried about the BSODs. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

If I had read these endless Threads on BSOD's I'd probably never had purchased my G51J....I have been one of many NOT suffering any issues and the result ahs been a great product....BSOD seems to be a "luck of the draw".....see its even back with G51JX...

Remember, folks with issues Posts lots, folks without Post very little or you never hear from them...its that way with any HW....take it all with a grain of salt and make a "Educated Decision" based on all information ;)
