    My UL30VT-A1!

    anyone have any last minute advice, Im still kinna debating silver or black... :( I know black is horrible with finger prints but it looks so damn shnazzy. But then again bigger battery on silver.

    The a1 only comes in silver. The x1 comes in black.

    Make sure to use your AMEX for a free year of extra warranty.

    And i'd go with the A1 from Amazon (i love their exchange/return policy on laptops)...

    No tax (for most states)
    Less fingerprints with Silver
    Bigger capacity battery
    Extra year warranty

    I'd choose X1 because:
    Even though it is more prone to fingerprints, it's really not as bad as people make it.

    At around 8 hours as opposed to 10, it's still really all day but I realize some people really need 10...

    Asus has generally been great in terms of quality for me so lack of warranty doesn't scare me too much.

    X1 has a better wifi antennea

    Does amex still extend your warranty? I thought they stopped that. I like the x1 just for the looks. Its 750 right now on amazon. If you want the A1 check out gentechpc. Its always good to have a good reseller behind you when you need any help.
