    Hi all

    I am thinking of getting a W90.

I would like you to give me a hands on experience. What about built quality. I use Sony, Dell, Toshiba and never bought an Asus. Is the W90 worth it. Anyone can compare it to a Sony? what about keyboard flex. Also, can I add DDR3 RAM chips in it, I read in CNET that I can. Does it have 3 slots? What about fan noise? Is the screen good? about the 1080 pixel if we wanna compare this to a 1200 is it OK or better as the height might be lower than normal screens due to the 18.4" design.about the graphics card, is this the highest bus speed (256 I guess)? what is the dedicated memory (Is it GDDR5?) will this be bottle necked by the processors speed? where can I buy it in the UK? and is there a customization option? Has any one encountered a problem with it? Please anything that might come to your mind regarding this will be very beneficial. I am buying it in a month, I read about the Lamborghini VX5 so do u think should I get it or wait for the VX5?

My best regards to you all

I have the w90 pre-ordered. DDR3 ram isn't too much of a preformance increase. I would ahve wanted the new i7 chipset, but the x38 chip set is still very nice.

Asus is a great build quility with good waranty services. I am not sure about where you can buy the the UK. The graphics cards are the top out atm DDR3 only, but the proc will be the bottle neck. The best graphics will be Geforce 280 GTX in Sli, but that isn't out yet.

There are two reviews right here on the forum and they are accurate representations of what you get and I say that having owned mine for a month. I would scope those and most of your questions will be answered plus many more you didnt ask. Once you have done that hop up on the owners thread and read that.
