    ASUS x75VD - Microphone emits beeping noise when webcam is on!

    So my girlfriend recently got her new Asus X75VD. During Skype, when we video called I heard this rapid beeping noise (not feedback screeches). So we tried to find the cause and it seems that whenever the webcam is on with the microphone, the beeping noise occurs. When it is just the microphone on, there is no beeping noise. The beeping noise vanishes as soon as the webcam is turned off. I have found one other case where this has happened with an Asus laptop [link]. I would definitely like some help with this issue because it's driving me nuts every time the webcam is on. If requested, I will post a soundbyte of the beeping noise.

    I am looking at this system to replace my current unit. Can you give some information about it? How is the screen? HDD? WIFI? I am not a gamer so the 1600x900 is all I need, also do not want the smaller print of 1080x.

    Screen and Wifi is pretty good. HDD works quietly and is pretty fast for daily file management.

    Anyways, any help on this issue?
